Job Title: Production Support - Middleware
Location: Chennai
Software Requirements:
- Strong understanding of various technology platforms including mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand technology requirements and design effective solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop technical specifications and comprehensive documentation for new features and enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements, and propose integration strategies for existing solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code in the codebase.
- Participate in resolving technical issues and provide expert technical support to team members.
- Work closely with the testing team to ensure all software solutions are thoroughly tested and adhere to quality standards.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
Core Technical Skills:
- Proficient in mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Development Methodologies:
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on middleware technologies.
- Proven experience with software development methodologies and tools.
- Track record of working with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Write, test, and deploy software solutions effectively.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay informed about the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Provide technical support to team members and assist in resolving technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
