Managing team performance, conducting Technician and Operator appraisals, and developing training plans for individuals.
Driving the Quality culture by ensuring the work processes and procedures are adhered to, through Production pack review and approval as well as continuous evaluation and maintenance through the document control system as appropriate.
Ensuring that the necessary training and up-skilling activities are carried out, evaluated and documented to optimize production operator versatility.
Ensuring that production efficiencies and targets are continuously met and reviewed with support from the Process Engineering & Maintenance teams.
Ensuring continuous Improvements are implemented and lean manufacturing activities are coordinated, implemented and evaluated.
Supporting new product introductions and change controls are effectively managed and introduced. Liaison with engineering and management for scheduling and supervision of product trials, validation runs.
Initial Production runs review, participation, feedback and approval to the NPI department.

Drive team metrics and ELS initiatives
Improve productivity and reduce manufacturing variability through the development and implementation of best practices and auditing
Make certain that all employees are following the standard operating procedures and training instructions
Lead the efforts to identify the root cause and put preventative actions in place
Maintain Quality Control processes to ensure products/services meet quality standards, conduct workmanship interviews
Identify opportunities and drive the implementation of process improvements
Manage production flow, staffing schedule and resources to budget and plan
Communicate and monitor key operational metrics
Follow the company policies and lead by example
Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes
Identify, investigate and provide leadership for team based ELS projects
Make efforts to reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity

Lead and drive the MDI process
Lead and facilitate problem solving for high level operational issues
Degree in Printing Engineering preferred specialization in Offset and Digital Science/Business/Supply Chain Discipline
English and Kannada language proficiency/
Experience in Offset,Digital and Flexography.
Previous experience minimum of 5 years in a Supervisory role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Background on operational systems as TPM, 5´S´, PDCA, good manufacturing practices & lean principles.
