ABOUT THIS JOB As a Product Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for the implementation and direction of end-to-end test plans for medium to complex product developments, adhering to the principles, processes, and tools of the Nielsen Testing Framework. Your primary objective is to minimize the risk of quality issues post go-live by creating and implementing testing plans, overseeing defect identification and remediation and ensuring operational sustainability, with a special focus on data analysis and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration and Coordination:
Clarify roles and responsibilities for all teams involved in testing, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Coordinate UAT testing between different global and local teams (Tech, Data Science, Operations)
Entry/Exit Criteria and Test Plan Implementation:
Ensure adoption of entry/exit criteria for each test level.
Review program documentation with a focus on testability.
Implement end-to-end testing plans, emphasizing data validation and operational sustainability.
Identify quality assurance and milestones, dependencies, issues, risks and assumptions.
Defect Management:
Document and facilitate resolution of defects, ensuring timely investigation and remediation.
Communication and Reporting:
Actively participate in program checkpoints, reporting on test progress and highlighting risks.
Inform stakeholders, including clients and senior leadership, of risks and planned mitigation strategies and remediation plans.
Hands-On Testing & Analysis and Production Readiness:
Execute hands-on testing when needed.
Conduct data analysis / validations to ensure data is of quality prior to deploying to a customer.
Provide feedback on the production readiness of data delivery and supporting systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Review incidents and quality escapes, ensuring continuous improvement.
Leverage lessons learned for program improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
2+ years experience in testing, including testing tools (PDLC, Jira, etc.)
Knowledge of critical aspects of test automation.
Knowledge of the media industry.
Experience in data analysis.
Attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, administrative, and team coordination skills.
Proven self-starter and critical thinker.
Working experience with Python, shell scripting, excel Macros, DBs.
