Your Role and Responsibilities As a GTM product manager for watsonx. data – AI-focused tooling, you will focus on GTM activities for watsonx . data capabilities supporting Data Management and Gen AI. You will manage the overall go-to-market activities that support data management for generative AI use cases, and for Data Analytics.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Strong customer-facing and communication skills/experience – Experienced with delivering presentations to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making while navigating difficult situations
Experience using or developing products for data science and GenAI – Experience working with data prep and transformation tools, experience
Experience performing competitive and market research to shape product positioning and messaging
Experience managing diverse stakeholders’ demand – Able to manage expectation and alignment across the various outbound product stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Consulting, Client Engineering, Customer Success managers)
Prior marketing or GTM product management experience: Developed marketing message, value prop, and product positioning for highly technical products in a B2B setting “
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience working in product roles or entrepreneurship
Understanding of Data Management, Data Security, and Data Sharing in the context of diverse data stores (SQL and NoSQL databases, including vector databases)
Domain expertise in working with diverse data architectures and distributed data management such as Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Databases
Understanding of B2B product management dynamics
Understanding of the IBM Cloud, GCP, AWS, and Azure ecosystem
Strong relationship-building skills
Proven ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
Experience in representing and advocating for client/market needs and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning”
