Your Role and Responsibilities As a Product Manager, you help support the portfolio strategy and execution, and collaborate across product, development, design, sales, and marketing to help deliver differentiated enhancements and value to clients and partners. Other responsibilities include:
Collaborate with broader product team to help support portfolio and business. Manage reporting and dashboards, data gathering and analysis. Work across business unit to help create product SKUs, update/maintain documentation, track and report progress on launch readiness plans, and assist with client requests for licensing.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel on GTM and partner enablement plans. Contribute to learning programs and enablement assets.
Analyse research on competitive landscape and market influencers (e.g., capabilities, pricing/packaging, GTM strategies).
Monitor key deals and progression in sales pipeline. Drive win/loss data collection and analysis.
Provide ongoing technical/operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conduct special projects.
Accountable for individual, team and department results, and for activities and/or projects involving multi-functional teams
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3+ years of experience in product management, technical product marketing or related field
Hands-on, data-driven approach, and an ability to work concurrently on several projects while managing routine day-to-day activities
Experience with creating presentations and presenting to internal teams
Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
2+ years of product management experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings
Knowledge of the cloud infrastructure market segment – technologies, best practices, vendors, and competitive landscape
Knowledge of VMware technologies
Knowledge of VMware-powered SaaS or IaaS platforms, or knowledge of AWS or Azure IaaS platforms
Master’s degree in business or related field preferred
