The Team:


The Digital Technology Services Platforms & Tools (DTS P&T) is responsible for developing and managing tools enabling Service Management, Agile Execution, Project Portfolio Management, DevOps Tools and DTS BI, for all the S&P Global Divisions. The P&T team is spread across 5 major verticals as mentioned above and is responsible for managing close to 30 different Products in the above-mentioned domains for the S&P Global Enterprise.

Overall goal of the Platforms and Tools Automation Team is to develop and manage an automation Fabric which could be used for all divisions to enable automation and bring value to the customer at a much faster rate and in an efficient manner.


We lead the automation for fulfilling service requests through ServiceNow, integrating multiple tools and managing approval flows to streamline processes. We are looking for a passionate Automation Product Manager to lead our product efforts, from ideation to rollout, and drive business success.


Responsibilities:


As the Automation Product Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions that enhance service request fulfillment. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, create roadmaps, manage backlogs, and work closely with engineering, UX, marketing, and customers to deliver high-impact features. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment and has deep expertise in automation technologies and integration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Create, own, and manage product plans, roadmaps, and backlogs, while defining and prioritizing user stories.
  • Work with engineering scrum teams to roll out new enhancements based on platform schema and technical feasibility.
  • Maintain a roadmap of upcoming features, ensuring prioritization aligns with business goals and estimations.
  • Partner with the system architect and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with UX and marketing teams to craft value propositions for new solutions and promote them effectively.
  • Conduct product demos for customers and stakeholders to showcase new features and enhancements.
  • Develop a communications plan, deployment strategy, and training materials for smooth rollout and user adoption.
  • Train divisional stakeholders on new solutions and support them through the onboarding process.
  • Use Agile Scrum methodology to measure and continuously improve project execution and team performance.

What We’re Looking For:


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in product management, specifically for technical products.
  • Proven experience with automation technologies and integration methodologies across platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Go-to-Market Plans and product support strategies.
  • Experience working in large-scale, matrixed, globally distributed organizations.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with a track record of influencing and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, independent, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and adapt to changing business needs.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • SAFe Certification.
  • Experience in the financial services sector.
