Key Accountabilities
Data Governance:
• Establish and oversee a federated data governance model across distribution, with clear responsibilities defined between Business Domains with respect to documentation, support, quality, security, commercialisation, and ownership of data, to ensure the optimal use of this asset
• Enhance the culture within Amadeus that normalises sharing data and making informed decisions on how to best utilise this asset
• Design and implement data strategies and systems to manage data as an asset
• Advise on, monitor, and govern TRD data
• Lead Amadeus Product Life Cycle (PLC) definition, process and documents linked to data and ensure the completion by Product Managers
Data Platform:
• Develop and execute platform strategy for data collection, storage and sharing
• Represent TRD unit in the transversal data train interacting with the engineer community
• Establish standards of data quality and oversee compliance with data protection and privacy policies
• Develop further collaboration cross-Business Lines
• Support enterprise digital transformation and cost reduction
Data Acquisition & Monetisation:
• Enable and steer new transversal data opportunities and innovation
This is an individual contributor role, where candidate will have no direct reports however needs to engage the community of product managers, data and analytics experts.
Education
Master degree in Engineering (Information Technology, Data Science or related field) or equivalent.
OR Bachelor degree in Engineering (Information Technology) with prior experience in Data Management/Governance.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of experience in a complex business environment or international organisation matrix.
Must have experience and knowledge in data governance.
Strong IT background, including expertise in big data, cloud technology, monitoring solutions, machine learning ML, and artificial intelligence AI.
Familiarity with data governance tools such as Collibra (preferred) or similar alternatives.
Proven track record in product management, data management, and information technology systems and tools.
Experience with the SAFe Agile framework.
Knowledge of data analytics/dashboard tools like Qlik and Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
Nice to have experience in travel domain.
