About the Role
Leap is hiring a Sr. Product Designer to lead the design of experiences that help students make life-changing decisions with clarity and confidence. This role is about owning the entire design journey, creating intuitive, impactful products that make complex decisions feel effortless.
The charter for this role will include:
Transforming Student Experience – Craft user journeys that are simple, impactful, and meaningful, supporting students as they navigate complex choices.
Building Stickiness and Business Impact – Design interactions that drive user engagement and retention, directly influencing key business metrics.
Establishing a Culture of User-Centred Design – Foster a thoughtful design culture that prioritises user needs and a seamless experience.
Ownership from Vision to Execution – Collaborate closely with founders and key stakeholders, taking responsibility for UX from the initial vision through to final execution, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Ideal Persona would:
Someone with 4-6 years of UX design experience, who comes from a deep background of mature design practice from a B2C setup, someone who can contribute to building design culture as well in addition to individual contribution.
Have hands-on experience managing / mentoring a team of junior designers and should have worked and managed multiple stakeholders. Experience of being fluent in design systems and working seamlessly with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to translate ideas into impactful designs.
Led UX design for a product end-to-end, making complex interactions simple. Deeply aware of how every design decision impacts the user experience.
Either have been a founding designer or worked in startups, where you have driven UX decisions independently and seen the impact of thoughtful, user-driven design.
Passionate about building intuitive and engaging B2C products, understanding how to make digital experiences sticky, streamlined, and memorable.
