As a Design Automation Engineer/CTO Specialist, you will serve as an individual contributor within a team dedicated to supporting design automation across Mining products. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of product engineering, product configuration concepts, BOM management, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), CAD expertise, and business knowledge.

Designing and developing product models using Tacton Configurator Studio.
Mapping product models utilizing Tacton Design Automation for SolidWorks.
Performing modelling and detailing tasks within SolidWorks.
Analyzing work content and estimating drafting hours required for tasks based on available inputs.
Demonstrating a strong understanding of CAD automation to create 3D models and drawings aligned with the given product structure.
Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of existing models and drawings from an automation perspective.
Collaborating with team members to clarify product design aspects.
Ensuring compliance with specification requirements throughout the design process.
Maintaining the BOM structure within Enovia.
Upholding team productivity and efficiency standards.
Ensuring error-free documentation while adhering to design automation guidelines.
Verifying that all preliminary activities are addressed in the model and drawings for design automation.
Continuously improving technical skills and staying updated on the latest developments in the design automation field.
BE Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 to 8 years of Hands-on experience in Part modelling, Assembly and Drawings (SolidWorks mandatory).
2 to 4 years of Hands-on experience with Tacton modeling or knowledge in similar software
Hands-on experience in Configurations & design tables.
Hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2d drawings.
Shall have good knowledge of design automation tools.
Knowledge in SolidWorks API and CAD customization is a plus.
Good knowledge of Machine design.
Good interpersonal skills and communication.
Good in estimating time and effort for a given task.
