Procurement Support

Job Title:Procurement SupportSummary:This role will be responsible for creating and managing purchase requisitions within the SAP system. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of PRs to support the procurement and supply chain functions.Responsibilities Include:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP using T-code ME51N.
• Complete all required fields are accurately filled, including material codes, quantities, delivery dates, and plant codes.
• Collaborate with internal requesters and Procurement to verify and validate details.
• Track the status of PRs to ensure timely approval and conversion to purchase orders.
• Assist in resolving issues related to PR creation and processing.
• Support in accurate record maintenance and documentation of all PR activities.
• Act as single point of contact for PR-related queries and issues and providing time to time status updates on the creation of the purchase orders
• Create Goods Receipts (GRs) and handle reversals in SAP.
• Approve invoices in the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Support in continuous improvement opportunities resulting in improved data management and efficient PR to PO process.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

·Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) or similar

·0–2 -year experience in Procurement domain.

·Fluency in English required with excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Experience using SAP.

·Good communication skills
