Our LTD Process Integration Development team is integral to Intel's Integrated Device Manufacturer 2.0 (IDM2.0) strategy with Foundry Capability. At our Chandler, Arizona site, we're constructing new fabs for the latest technology nodes, including Intel 18A and beyond. This exciting transformation requires talented individuals with Materials Characterization Analysis expertise to serve both local and global customers.
Position Overview: Intel's LTD Process Integration Development Organization is seeking a passionate, innovative, and results-driven Process Integration Development Engineer (TEM/FIB/SEM) with experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and systems. You will develop, implement, optimize, maintain, and document procedures for data storage and analysis systems supporting metrology equipment for foundry customers. Collaborate closely with equipment development, operations, automation, and manufacturing teams to deliver quality end-to-end foundry solutions.
Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor key factory defect and yield health trends in real time using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Use advanced data analysis and data mining techniques to identify drivers of defects.
- Use knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques to troubleshoot, understand, and contain the root cause of defect drivers.
- Act as the first point of contact for real-time requests for analysis help from factory module engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following:
- Materials Characterization (Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy, Energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, etc.)
- Semiconductor device physics, Semiconductor processing fundamentals (lithography, wet and dry etch, chemical and/or mechanical polishing, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in one or more of the following:
- Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and/or repairing complex equipment.
- Statistical data analysis (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.).
- Knowledge of semiconductor process fundamentals and advances in fabrication technology over the past decade.
- Experience with general failure analysis tools in a semiconductor laboratory.
- Demonstrated independent quick-learning ability on lab instrumentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage lab staff.
