Process Engineering Lead This Process Engineering Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in process intelligence activities such as process analytics with process mining and intelligent automation with RPA (UiPath), OCR, and other technical solutions. Process engineering is the corner stone of scalable digital transformation across PepsiCo’s value chain. This expert will work on the end-to-end RPA & Process Mining solutions, delivering high quality analytics & automation solutions as part of the company-wide transformation. The leader in this role will provide technical oversight and direction to the development team on the Intelligent Automation side. This leader will work closely with the user experience, product, IT, and software engineering teams to develop new products and prioritize deliver solutions across S&T core priorities. Technical expertise as it relates to RPA (UiPath), bot development, bot IDs, incl. dashboard development, data processing etc. is a requirement for the role as this expert will be driving development of process intelligence solutions. Further experience with OCR/text extraction is a big plus, to automate text extraction from Contracts, invoices, etc. This role is a part of PepsiCo’s S&T (Strategy & Transformation), Digital Products & Services organization. Responsibilities Support the vision and drive projects to build and support digital products and services (DPS) across S&T core priorities, with a focus on Process Automation and Process Mining Technical know-how to build small Pilots/POCs, train other users on usage of tools, etc. Interact with key business partners to recommend and build solutions that best meet the strategic needs of the business and unlock the value Develop solution delivery and testing strategy utilizing industry standards. Create roadmap and timing of implementation of the roadmap based on business requirements and strategy. Support partnerships with User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Software Engineering teams to deliver the Digital Products portfolio Support expanding DPS capabilities through a customer obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform that leverages process mining and automation to deliver digital solutions that unlock value for the business Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the engineering initiatives to the stakeholders Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems other related quantitative field A total of 8+ years’ experience with minimum of 3+ years’ experience with solutions implemented using Python programming 2 years’ of relevant Azure Dev Ops experience with exposure to various Azure Resources/Components (preferably Azure Storage Account, BLOB containers, LogAnalytics, AI Translator, Cosmo DB, etc.) Basic knowledge on RPA concepts (preferably UiPath) 2+ years’ experience with hands-on SQL and solid understanding of databases 1+ years’ experience with data; ETL, data engineering disciplines, data ingestion Knowledge of AKS Clusters, Nodes, and pod management Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems, and familiarity with support and sustainability of solutions Qualities Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities Ability to be able to interface with the business and recognize their needs and priorities Ability to work cross functionally with product, service design and operations across the organization Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to engineering and processes Strong interpersonal skills, ability to navigate through a complex and matrixed internal environment Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units Ability to navigate a complex organization and to influence and lead people across cultures and seniority levels Ability to think outside the box and desire to create innovative solutions At PepsiCo, we recognize that our success is driven by our talented and dedicated employees.
