The Role


As a Process Enginer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….


  • Develop and implement innovative process solutions for mineral processing, including flotation, leaching, and metallurgy.
  • Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies to assess potential improvements.
  • Optimize existing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance, ensuring that operations are conducted within the designed parameters.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to process performance and equipment.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement projects, including design, implementation, and evaluation phases.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Work closely with cross-functional teams including geologists, mining engineers, and environmental specialists.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operations teams and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Prepare detailed reports on process performance, project outcomes, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of processes and changes.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the metal mining or mineral industry.
  • Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HSC Chemistry).
  • Strong understanding of mineral processing techniques and metallurgy.
  • Experience with process control systems and automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform detailed process analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
