​The Role

As a Process Designer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Minimum 5~13 years in PID drafting (Minimum 4 years in SPPID & at least 1 year in SPPID).
• Excellent knowledge of Software; SPPID.
• Understanding Process drafting standards and practices.
• Preparation of PIDs in Smart plant PID with markup update, participate in the periodic discussions with lead & Engineers for understanding the process requirements.
• Achieving the drafting and designing targets of PIDs in given time schedule.
• Entering the attributes in the PIDs for pipe run, Piping components and others.
• Extraction of Line Lists, Valve Lists, Instrument Lists, Equipment & Tie-in reports etc. from Global utility.
• Understand the importance of performing self-check to maintaining quality and error free deliverables.
• Good communication & writing skills to discuss with discipline engineer.
• Attitude to find, track, and resolve Errors.
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD, MicroStation & Microsoft excel software.
• Applies knowledge of standards, systems, departmental guideline, and applicable codes.
• Act as the drafting and design interface for the discipline for projects and proposals.
• Ensure quality of drafting, design and back drafting by carrying out quality checks as per the quality procedures and maintain quality records thereof.
• Monitor and report drafting and design progress for projects to the Lead Engineer.
• Induct drafting and design personnel to the drafting procedures in the office and ensure adherence to the same.
• Liaise with other disciplines on technical issues.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Relevant approved certificate from a state or technical education department or equivalent.
• Relevant design and drafting experience.
• Computer skills such as AutoCAD, 3D drafting (PDMS/PDS/Autoplant/AVEVA).
