We are looking for a Principal DevOps engineer, who has experience leading build and release engineering practices, architecture, and activities. The role requires working closely with product teams in Hyderabad and in Boston. Also needs to work with different stake holders who contribute to our product releases.
Job Purpose
Become a member to cater the DevOps needs of multiple scrum teams in Hyderabad. These teams constitute members with cross-functional & cross technical skills, and it is part of a bigger Software Development Group for our product across the globe for EES, plays a crucial role in product release along with other scrum teams in Boston.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• 10 or more years of professional experience leading Build and Release engineering practices, architecture and activities.
• 7 or more years of experience working with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell
• 5 or more years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices in an enterprise ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Git concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent ability to work independently with a wide cast of audiences including customers, developers, project management and support staff
• Familiarity with software development life cycle models and agile programming methodologies
• Experience acquiring In-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployment
