What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will help digitally transform Amgen's Supply chain capabilities via implementation of SAP S/4HANA. As a technology professional within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) team, this role will help guide the transition from our global ERP instance on SAP ECC to the S/4HANA Intelligent Enterprise. Roles & Responsibilities:
Own the design of sophisticated Supply Chain Management (SCM) data models as part of the S/4HANA implementation, ensuring that the data structures support both operational needs and future analytics capabilities, while aligning with project objectives.
Map S/4HANA data structures to the existing data architecture, including Enterprise Data Fabric (EDF) domains and various downstream systems, ensuring compatibility with analytics and reporting requirements across the broader data landscape.
Support master data loads, inventory uploads, and data transfer activities, ensuring data readiness and integrity for both operational processes and analytical applications throughout the project.
Oversee creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with data engineers to develop user stories, mock-ups, and architectural designs that address analytics needs, ensuring data architecture aligns with future system design and integration plans.
Contribute to the solution design and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) processes for Material, Customer, and Vendor master data, ensuring high-quality data that supports efficient analytics and reporting across the organization.
Devise strategies to improve data quality and implement best practice controls, ensuring accurate, consistent data that supports both day-to-day operations and strategic analytics via tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree with 8 - 10 years of Master data management and data analytics experience in SAP MM, PP, QM, SD and WM OR
Bachelor’s degree with 10 - 14 years of Master data management and data analytics experience in SAP MM, PP, QM, SD and WM OR
Diploma with 14 - 18 years of Master data management and data analytics experience in SAP MM, PP, QM, SD and WM
Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA data model, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere and SAP AI Business Services
Good understanding of master data across key supply chain business processes such as MM, PP, QM and SD modules.
Experience in managing master data transfer between SAP eco systems like SAP GTS, ATTP, EWM, TM and non-SAP system using DRF, IDOC and PI/PO
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing supply chain data architecture to support analytics and integrations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an agile operating model
Experience building and continuously monitoring & improving system to system integrations for financial data
Programming skills in ABAP, Python and SQL in an AWS environment
Professional Certifications :
SAP Certified Associate - SAP Master Data Governance
