We are looking for a Principal PM (Tech) to join our team and shape up our App Install advertising vision and establish a long-term strategy for scalable, impactful user acquisition solutions. In this highly strategic role, you will define the future of App Install advertising, from advanced targeting capabilities to innovative product solutions and cross-platform scalability. This role involves owning the product roadmap and building a suite of ad solutions that deliver exceptional results for advertisers and business growth. You will influence stakeholders at all levels, lead cross-functional teams, and act as a thought leader for App Install advertising.
Key job responsibilities
Develop a Visionary Product Roadmap: Define and communicate a long-term strategy and roadmap for app install advertising, alignment with broader organizational growth objectives.
Lead Strategic Growth Initiatives: Drive core initiatives to optimize user acquisition channels, improve install quality, and maximize advertiser ROI through innovative ad formats and programmatic solutions.
Establish Competitive Differentiation: Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to ensure our offerings are ahead of industry standards and address the evolving needs of advertisers.
Drive Product Innovation: Conceptualize and lead the development of cutting-edge ad solutions, including advanced targeting, bidding, and personalized ad experiences that attract high-value users at scale.
Deliver Scalable Ad Solutions: Build infrastructure and tools that allow advertisers to effectively manage and scale their app install campaigns, including dashboards, optimization algorithms, and predictive analytics.
Influence Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with engineering, marketing, sales and GTM, leading complex projects and aligning stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
Advanced Data-Driven Strategy: Set high-level metrics for success and lead data-driven optimizations, analyzing performance to make strategic adjustments and improve cost efficiency, user retention, and long term value.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate vision, progress, and results to executive stakeholders, and build alignment around the product strategy.
About the team
You will be part of the IN Ads product team, reporting to the IN Ads product leader. This role will entail defining the vision for App Install advertising for India in close partnership with the WW Ads team.
- 10+ years in product management, with minimum 5 years of deep expertise in adtech or app install.
- Prior experience with digital advertising platforms is a MUST.
- Proven ability to set and execute long-term, high-impact product strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ad platforms, programmatic buying, real-time bidding, targeting, and optimization. Familiarity with DSPs, SSPs, and mobile ad networks.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong track record of cross-functional influence and leading large initiatives, with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills across levels.
- Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is highly desirable.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Global Experience: Experience building ad solutions for global markets, understanding regional nuances, and scaling products to meet diverse needs.
- Innovation and Growth Mindset: Track record of building new areas and growing the same.
- Deep Knowledge of App Marketing Analytics: Expertise in tools for measuring and optimizing app install campaigns.
