Principal Physical Design Engineer

You will be a part of the Automotive and Industrial Solutions Group which is a global leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of Microcontrollers (MCUs) and Embedded Processors in the Automotive, Consumer and Industrial markets

Job Description

• Master/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 7-12 years of working experience in Physical Design Implementation activities in latect technology nodes
• Responsibilities include Synthesis, Floor-planning, Place and Route, CTS, Physical Verification (DRC/LVS), IR and Timing Closure.
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in PnR/STA/PD/PV/PDN closure for live projects, practical experience of the associated EDA tools
• Should have very good expertise in Timing constraints, Clocking and DFT architecture
• Understanding of key scripting languages particularly TCL.
• Experience of working as part of a larger and multisite teams and working towards project milestones and deadlines.
• Good team player and working with the wider design teams to support their efforts.
• The candidate should demonstrate an ability to fulfil the principal duties of the role and possesses the required competencies, should have good communication skills and should be self-motivated
• Self-motivated and Good communication skill
