About the team
InTrader clients are medium to large banking institutions in the U.S. These clients typically provide several services for correspondent banks in addition to having funding and trading arms. Most customers need InTrader to provide Fixed Income Portfolio Accounting and Reporting, Regulatory Compliance , Safekeeping and Funding and Liability Management. Some of our customers provide InTrader services to smaller “downstream” community banks (Correspondents).
What you will be doing
You will work with and support legacy code, as well as new code development in Progress ABL, Progress RDBMS and Java. You will also collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders in the team and across the organization and lead and work any modernization initiatives. You will lead architecture of the system and responsible for overall health of system.
What you bring:
Overall 10+ years of experience in Progress ABL, Progress RDBMS, Progress Application Server, PERL and other legacy scripting and cloud and AI/ML knowledge
Strong communication skills and ability to present your work, receive feedback, and engage in constructive discussions.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand complex logic and data flows.
Willingness to be on call when product issues occur and provide timely solutions.
Nice to Have skills: Cloud (AWS/AZURE) and AI/ML
