- Design, develop and support high performance exotic derivative pricing application in Java, Spring Boot, Python, Redis, and MySQL
- Seamless integration with other trading system for high performance derivative pricing services
About the team:
- FIS OTC Derivatives and Valuations Services (FastVal) is a SaaS solution that provides an independent valuation for derivatives and non-liquid assets. It delivers a hosted portfolio valuation service, accessed over the internet, that provides independent valuations for individual trades and holdings, as well as entire portfolios. It provides pre-defined models as well allows defining new This is powered by a proprietary pricing language that can describe any financial instrument, enabling rapid response to developing markets and products, and assimilation of new instruments. The service uses state-of-the-art single and multi-factor models, with efficient numerical methods to price and structure derivatives in a wide range of asset classes.

What you will be doing:
- Design technical and functional solutions and implement the same in Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Python, Redis, and MySQL to enhance, and maintain existing solution.
- Develop Seamless integration with other trading system for providing pricing services.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality of the product.
- Interact with the client and support the application and related queries.
- Ensure the security compliance for the solution.
- Drive innovation to improve client experience, quality, and performance.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 10+ years exp with Java 8/17, and Spring boot
- Good knowledge of database, MySQL, etc.
- Experience working with high performance application and in-memory databases/structure (Redis).
- Strong understanding of Design patterns
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.
Added bonus if you have:
- Exposure to development in C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure AKS.
- Knowledge of Message Queue (RabbitMQ).
- Experience of Agile Scrum will be an added advantage.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
