About the role:
- This position is for a software developer specialist.
- Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients.
- Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives.
- Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software.
- Train and communicate with clients on systems application.

What you will be doing:
- This position is for a software developer specialist for product Quantum.
- The specifications are provided by the business analysts and product management team.
- Understand requirements thoroughly.
- Identify the priorities from product owners
- Design and architect the product
- Deliver the iterative results in each sprint
- Provide design assistance to team and come up with solution design as and when required
- Do database design reviews
- Do code reviews
- Support client issues and shuffle priorities as required
- Mentor junior team members
- Host stakeholder demo
- Write automation test cases
- Provide detailed documentation
- The team is distributed across different countries, role is to collaborate effectively with them.
- Full product lifecycle experience, from requirements and design through to supporting production code.
- Quality focused and suggest improvement in process and product.
- Take ownership of situations and tasks.
- Challenge team members and project management on the requirements, feature value and impact on team velocity.
- Proactive in learning new things, research best solutions for the requirement.
What you will need:
- IT Bachelor (B.E.) or master’s degree in computer science (M.C.S.) / Computer Applications (M.C.A.)
- 12 years of experience in software development
- Experience in agile scrum rituals
- Experience in Banking and Finance Sector or Treasury is a plus
- Experience in web development and static/dynamic security scans
- Experience in continuous integration and maintaining high quality standards
- Technical expertise in .Net Core, C# MVC, SQL Server/Oracle is mandatory
- Experience with TypeScript, JSON (preferred)
- Experience with Micro Services
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with industry standard development practices
- Experience with any of the source code management system
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum, Continuous integration, TDD Windows PowerShell Worked on server-side code.
- Optimization skills – C# code and SQL Server queries / schema.
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
- Analytical, design and problem-solving skills
- Client oriented
- Estimation – provide development estimates and monitor actual efforts against it
- Escalation – provide prompt escalation of functional, technical and project issues to management
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and functional issues with internal and external stakeholders
- SQL Server DBA skills.
