About the role:


This position is for a software developer specialist. Responsible for development of regulatory reports and RWA Calculations based on banking regulations like Basel, EBA, PRA, FINMA, APRA etc..

What you will be doing :


  • This position is for a software developer specialist.
  • Responsible for development of regulatory reports and RWA Calculations based on banking regulations like Basel, EBA, PRA, FINMA, APRA etc.
  • The specifications are provided by the business analysts and product management team. The team is distributed across different countries, role is to collaborate effectively with them.
  • Full product lifecycle experience, from requirements and design through to supporting production code.
  • Quality focused and suggest improvement in process and product. Take ownership of situations and tasks.
  • Challenge team members and project management on the requirements, feature value and impact on team velocity. Proactive in learning new things, research best solutions for the requirement.

What you will need:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Business Management or equivalent work experience.
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience Windows development experience
  • Previous work experience in Banking or finance domain
  • Strong C# skills.
  • SQL Server experience, preferably in a data warehouse / large data set performance sensitive environment.
  • Object Orientated code design.
  • Experience in Unit testing frameworks like Nunit/MS-Test Good working knowledge of GIT.

Added bonus if you have:


  • Experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum, Continuous integration, TDD Windows PowerShell Worked on server-side code.
  • Optimisation skills – C# code and SQL Server queries / schema.
  • Creating reports for SQL Server reporting platforms e.g. power BI, SSRS, Excel.
  • SQL Server DBA skills.
