Principal Associate – M&A, PE, VC & General Corporate (Mumbai & Delhi)

A reputed Tier 2 law firm is seeking an experienced and driven Principal Associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and General Corporate team in Mumbai and Delhi.

• Leading and managing complex M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, including structuring, drafting, and negotiating transaction documents (SPAs, SHAs, investment agreements, JV agreements, etc.).
• Advising clients on cross-border and domestic acquisitions, strategic investments, and exits.
• Conducting legal due diligence and preparing detailed reports.
• Managing regulatory approvals and compliance requirements under Indian corporate, securities, and foreign exchange laws.
• Advising on general corporate matters, including company incorporation, corporate governance, and compliance issues.
• Handling joint ventures, strategic alliances, and restructuring matters.
• Supervising and mentoring junior associates within the team.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

• Qualified lawyer with 7–10 years of experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, and general corporate matters, preferably at a leading law firm.
• Strong experience in handling complex and high-value transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage teams and work independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Pure Law Firm experience required.
