Minimum Qualifications:
SVE (System Validation & Emulation) team within Bangalore Design Center is responsible for validating hardware solutions and to integrate new hardware (IP cores and SoCs) to maximize software productivity and enable faster time to market. The validation organization is central to minimizing the number of chip turns in products, to the efficient transition of sound and reliable HW to SW organizations, and to the development of new validation methodologies.
Validation team is currently looking for self-motivated engineers at all levels who will perform CPU validation at core and system level, debug, in emulation and in post-Silicon.
Job Description
Our team is responsible for Silicon level HW architectural validation and accountable to find design implementation bugs through pre/post-silicon system level validation
Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans/ coverage, and debug of failures
Responsible for validating the functionality of new architectural features of next generation designs by developing test plans, tests content, coverage points
Job qualifications :
Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
Experience interfacing with Power Management IC, DVFS and system low power modes
Experience in validating power management subsystems and SoC Power infra
Experience in measuring power/performance characteristics of a SoC
Experience in developing random stress stimulus validation frameworks
Good working knowledge in C & Python programming for content development and scripting
Debug instrumentation and interfaces – JTAG, Trace
ARM SoC concepts and architecture specifications like SMMU, GIC, Coresight
Debug and Resolution of hardware Issues and Software Use-Case Implementation
Familiarity with using Lab Equipment - Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Lauterbach debuggers
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Able to quickly adapt to new environments and learn new technologies
