We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
The PMO role is within the Markets Control and Markets Regulatory programmes. Markets Control programme is a diverse portfolio of regulatory requirements, external and internal audit issues relating to control and conduct activities that address gaps in our control environment. Markets Regulatory portfolio caters to the regulatory requirements resulting from new regulation that impacts our Markets business. The objective of these programmes is to ensure Markets and Securities Services meets its regulatory obligations, including changes to regulations, policy, procedures, and market infrastructure, providing a stable and risk adverse environment that can be leveraged across the Group. These are complex and large global initiatives, with over 700 resources combined across Europe, US, APAC and MENA working to deliver the business outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance
In this role, you will:The PMO role is accountable for quality assurance and adherence to the HSBC change framework and the related reporting standards for the Business Outcome. As part of this, the role will work with the IT Leads and core management team to ensure timely and accurate reporting [financials, resourcing, hiring, project RAG status, milestones, RAIDS] to the central programme and any external reporting.
The job supports the outcome through ensuring the financials, resourcing and the project plan is kept up to date and the MI and reports reflect the true status, highlighting any gaps and actions required to be taken by the programme. The PMO would be expected to work in collaboration with the Project Managers and IT/Business Leads to support successful tracking of the portfolio reporting and governance. The remit area may be global and may cross multiple HSBC business areas.
