Could you be the full-time PI Engineer (PI Field Engineer) (IN-PI-05) in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and problem-solving expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and supportive teammates.
You'll provide essential field engineering leadership and support to projects and the Product Introduction (PI) team, focusing on investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical and quality issues. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as RAMS, Project Engineering, and Quality teams), drive reliability growth through failure investigation, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing operational equipment malfunctions, defining troubleshooting methodologies, and providing technical guidance. But also, you'll be involved in driving technical Return of Experience/reporting/feedback as support of the Product Introduction Manager.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting technical activities on Alstom products during the PI period, including Commissioning and Warranty phases
Recommending preventative and corrective actions for equipment malfunctions
Providing feedback on technical documentation deficiencies
Advising on customer satisfaction and product performance
Facilitating information flow within the PI Customer Site and project teams
Applying EHS requirements on site with the support of EHS team representatives
