- Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining applications using CakePHP 2 framework
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Collaborating with front-end developers for server-side logic integration
- Working on both back-end and front-end components of web applications
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing code
- Designing and implementing new features, modules, and functionality
- Conducting unit testing and ensuring high-quality code
- Participating in code reviews
- Collaborating with project managers, designers, and other developers
- Writing technical documentation for systems and codebase
- Staying up-to-date with emerging web technologies and PHP development trends
- Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience with PHP and CakePHP 2
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture
- Proficiency in SQL databases and building efficient queries
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with external systems
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Experience with PHP debugging tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with deployment processes, server management, and performance tuning
- Good communication skills
