Role Profile - Actuarial Intern

Role Title:                                        Actuarial Intern


Department:                                     Actuarial


Location of Internship:                    Mumbai


Tenure of Internship:                       6 months Full time basis


Stipend during Internship:               INR 30,000 per month


Qualification Criteria:


  • Graduate or Post-Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce or Actuarial Science with outstanding academic track record
  • More than 2 Actuarial exam passes from Institute of Actuaries of India and/or Institute and Faculty of Actuaries
  • Prior working experience with R, Python, VBA, Power BI etc will be added advantage
  • Good communication skills

Brief Job Description:


  • Assist in Health Product Pricing including:
    • Premium, Feature & Loss Ratio Benchmarking
    • Deriving Assumptions
    • Building Models
    • Draft Technical Notes
    • Addressing Regulatory Queries
  • Assist in developing Reserving Framework, including building Models
  • Assist in developing Capital Modeling & ALM Framework, including building Models

  • Ability to liaise closely with different teams in the organization
