A Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) SST(History & Geography) specializes in teaching senior secondary students (typically grades 11 and 12) in their subject of expertise. Key responsibilities include:
Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and present comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, ensuring effective instruction in specialized subjects.
Student Assessment: Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning, addressing any behavioral issues promptly.
Parental Communication: Regularly communicate with parents or guardians regarding student performance and development.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and workshops to stay updated with educational best practices and subject matter advancements.
Essential qualifications include:
