We are seeking a techno-functional professional in our Bangalore location with experience catering to Performance Analytics reporting and a demonstrated ability to maintain/develop applications (using skills in SQL, Python, etc) preferably in an Investment Analytics function of asset servicing industries. The successful candidate should have a number of Project Management skills to deliver new product capabilities or product enhancements.
This team will report into Performance Analytics Product organization.
What you will be responsible for
As a Performance Product Business Analyst, you will be responsible to:
- Ensure required reports and related ETLs, both inputs and outputs are monitored and maintained (as required): manage system performance, capacity, clean up older files, etc.
- Maintain vendor’s file release schedule to ensure that required inputs are available daily for processing.
- Verify vendor data (eg: Benchmarks) against data from database with python codes
- Ensure Gallery / Alteryx workflows run smoothly and be able to fix issues (if any)
- Collaborate closely with SQA and Development teams on delivery of fixes and enhancement
- Collaborate with Service Delivery, Technology, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders in the development and rollout of new products and product capabilities
- Provide regular status updates and supporting program management reports as needed
- Communicate with Agile scrum teams, business owners and product management, to ensure that stakeholders at various levels are well informed, to learn and manage expectations, and to mitigate risks to keep the project roadmap on track
- Run test management processes for medium to large scale projects (Test Strategy/Approach documentation, managing User Acceptance Testing, building test plans and test scenarios, building implementation plans.)
- Become a subject matter expert for Performance & Analytics Applications
- Production Readiness:
- Write release notes, provide screenshots and details for training documents
- Work with model office and business on rolling out and implementation of new capabilities
- Provide training on new capabilities and enhancements
- Support production deployments
- Support large project implementations including client onboarding
- Support operational changes to the business product, including documenting current state, transformation initiatives, and future state.
- The role requires full adherence to the work from office roster for the team.

Education, skills and preferred qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience (exposure to Investment Analytics is valued.)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Financial Management or equivalent.
- Good educational pedigree and domain certifications (MBA, FRM, CFA, CQF etc.)
- Strong technology insights with demonstrated ability to work across business lines/functions
- Excellent communication, organization, prioritization and documentation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Skilled in performing data analysis and understanding data models for computation of investment analytics measures
- Software development experience
- SQL skills especially SQLite / Oracle database including performance tuning of SQL queries performance tune
- Python skills and experience, familiar with Pandas
- BI and visualization skills (Alteryx Gallery, or similar products)
- Experience with project management and documentation tools (eg: Confluence, Jira)
