We are seeking a People & Culture Manager to provide fixed-term parental leave coverage for a period of 8 months. This role will report and work in partnership with the Senior Director - P&C International, and will closely collaborate with Senior Leaders, People Managers, and employees to provide daily support for regional India People & Culture requirements.
The key focus of this role will be to offer hands-on, day-to-day support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Regional Partner role. The role will assist in resolving issues, supporting key initiatives, and facilitating effective communication across teams. This position is crucial for the ongoing success of People-related matters, contributing to the strengthening of relationships with stakeholders and offering guidance as needed.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Partner
- Provide strategic HR support to Senior Leaders, People Managers, and employees, offering practical advice and solutions on diverse HR matters.
- Guide managers on employee relations, performance management, and team development with tailored coaching and best practice advice.
- Collaborate with People Managers to drive engagement, identify development needs, and strengthen connections between employees and business objectives.
- Manage employee relations cases, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in workforce changes such as restructurings, mergers, and layoffs. Provide strategic guidance on communication, compliance, and transition support for impacted employees.
- Support the OKRs with a special focus on India, whilst aligning to our Global 2025 People & Culture OKRs
Payroll & Data ManagementEnsure accurate and timely reporting of employee data, including salary adjustments, promotions, terminations, and other payroll-impacting changes.Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies by managing accurate records and supporting regulatory requirements.
Operational Task ManagementIdentify operational activities within the People Partner role that can transition to the Global People Service Center (PSC) for efficiency.Recommend process improvements to enhance support for leaders, employees, and People Managers.
External Partner CollaborationOversee compliance with local payroll regulations, address employee concerns, and drive enhancements in payroll processes.Manage relationships with travel, benefits, and facility partners, ensuring contract renewals, issue resolution, and effective service delivery.Partner with the External vendor for POSH related & Internal Complaints Committee to renew contracts [CH2] [AT3] and coordinate training on sexual harassment policies.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in a Senior People & Culture/ HR role, with a focus on partnerships, employee relations and organisational support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of organisation.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to independently address and resolve issues while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Solid understanding of Indian labour laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance with employment and benefits requirements while supporting organisational needs in a legally sound manner.
- Experience with People Service Centers or knowledge of HR service delivery models is a plus.
