Payroll Specialist

Why this job is important

We are currently looking for a driven Payroll Specialist to join our team as a Payroll Administrator for UK&I and the Netherlands. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring compliance with policies, legislation, and adherence to deadlines. As a Payroll Specialist, you will work closely with HR Service Delivery, HR Business Partners, revenue authorities, other third parties, and our Payroll provider to guarantee timely and accurate payments of monthly payrolls

What you’ll be doing

• Overseeing payroll administration in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, ensuring all activities are undertaken and deadlines met.
• Understanding our complex business needs and managing these via 3rd party providers.
• Preparing payroll input for timely processing.
• Reviewing & validating provider-prepared payroll output against the approved payroll inputs.
• Processing queries by monitoring tickets (ServiceNow) ensuring SLA is met.

The skills & experience needed as Payroll Specialist

• Must have UK & Ireland and Netherlands payroll experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and other applications and systems.
• EMEA payroll experience of 2-5 years.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
• Knowledge of Workday advantageous.
