Job Description:
A Payroll Analyst’s role is to support payroll administration globally, collaborate cross-functionally with People Operations, play an important role in administering our Total Rewards programs and work closely with team members in finance & accounting.

What you’ll do:
Review and certify international payroll transactions to ensure all recommended payments accurately reflect current compensation levels and withholdings in accordance with local labor laws and requirements.
Compile, enter and reconcile data entry associated with international payroll.
Prepare payroll for commission, bonus and equity plans, and associated tax payments.
Perform audit of payroll registers prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Understand/research proper taxation of employer paid benefits and country specific payroll tax laws.
Research and investigate payroll discrepancies and employee payroll issues.
Communicate professionally and regularly with ActivPayroll service provider to ensure timely and accurate processing, and knowledge of local requirements.
Research and propose resolution of any data conflicts that impact payroll processing.
Ensure leave balances are accurately recorded and reported
Collect and provide reports and other supporting documentation for internal and/or external audit preparation.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and advise on potential areas of improvement in the control environment.
Ensure that new hire and termination information for our international team members in the system is accurate.
Review appropriate wage base limits in system.
Provide proactive communication to team members on payroll matters that come up, and respond quickly to questions that arise.
Support cross-functional teams by providing requested reports and ad-hoc requests.
Experience you’ll bring:
Prior experience with Active Payroll and Workday is a plus.
Strong understanding of reconciliation process preferred.
Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field of study.
1-2 years experience with payroll processing required.
Experience in managing payroll across multiple countries.
Proficiency in Excel required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all payroll records and meet strict deadlines.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
