Key Responsibilities
Security Posture Management: Assess and enhance the security posture of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI) environments. Implement and manage security policies and controls.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., CIS controls, GDPR, HIPAA). Conduct regular audits and assessments.
Data Encryption: Implement and manage data encryption solutions to protect sensitive information. Ensure encryption standards are met across all OCI services.
Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans. Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
Identity and Access Management: Manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) to ensure secure access controls and user management.
Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
Security Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and compliance tasks.
Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
Training and Awareness: Conduct security training and awareness programs for team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in OCI security services and tools (e.g., OCI Cloud Guard, OCI Vault, OCI Identity and Access Management).
Strong understanding of compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., CIS controls, GDPR, HIPAA).
Experience with data encryption technologies and best practices.
Knowledge of incident response and vulnerability management processes.
Familiarity with security automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python).
Experience with security monitoring and alerting tools.
Understanding of network security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
Soft Skills
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex security issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new security technologies and changing regulatory requirements.
