Operations Shift Lead1.  Team Supervision Lead and manage warehouse staff during the shift, including pickers, packers, forklift operators, and material handlers. Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure that productivity targets are met. Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate goals, safety reminders, and any updates. Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.  1.  Operational Oversight Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Monitor workflows and reassign tasks to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines. Address bottlenecks and implement solutions to prevent delays.  1.  Health, Safety, and Compliance Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse and equipment. Report any incidents, injuries, or safety violations and take corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and prevent shortages or overstocking. Conduct or oversee cycle counts and report discrepancies to the inventory control team. Coordinate the movement and storage of goods to optimize space utilization.  1.  Equipment and Resource Management Ensure warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor belts) is in proper working condition. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or preventive maintenance. Manage supplies such as pallets, boxes, labels, and other consumables to prevent delays.  
1.  Communication and Reporting Serve as the primary point of contact for shift-related issues and updates. Maintain accurate logs and records for shift activities, incidents, and productivity. Provide handover reports to the next shift lead or manager to ensure continuity. Communicate any issues or updates to senior management and other departments.  
1.  Problem-Solving and Escalation Handle real-time operational challenges, such as staffing shortages, equipment malfunctions, or unexpected delays. Resolve minor conflicts or issues among team members. Escalate critical problems to warehouse managers or other leadership as needed.  
1.  Performance Monitoring Track team productivity and accuracy to ensure KPIs are achieved. Identify underperformance and address it through feedback, coaching, or additional training. Recognize and reward high-performing team members.  
1.  Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency. Implement and support process improvements or new technologies. Provide feedback to management on potential upgrades to workflows, equipment, or staffing.
