In this crucial managerial role at Thomson Reuters, the leader is responsible for overseeing a specific functional area, ensuring that all operations align with the company’s strategic objectives. About the Role:


  • Functional Expertise: Provide expertise in functional, operational, or product areas within the department, working seamlessly across team boundaries.


  • Product Administration: Support production activities to ensure schedules and critical deadlines are met.


  • Direct activities to achieve product targets and adhere to customer specifications and cost schedules.


  • Utilize resources efficiently to optimize workflow and may oversee budgets for specific products or functions.


  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery of content, participating in content development for new and existing products.


  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop team performance through coaching, motivation, and mentoring.


  • Oversee recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.


  • Project Management/Process Improvement: Coordinate workflows and manage inter-departmental relationships.


  • Drive process improvements and lead project teams to achieve desired results.


  • Communication: Maintain effective communication across all organizational levels.


  • Manage stakeholder relationships and address escalated issues proactively.


  • Site Responsibility (if applicable): Oversee site performance and budget, representing the company at the site level.


About You:


  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a people management role.


  • Proven experience in direct tax filing is essential.


  • Education: A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is required.


  • Professional certifications such as Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Accountant (CA) are highly preferred.
