Job Description.
We are seeking an experienced and OCI certified Oracle DBA Lead with over 7 years of experience, including hands-on work with Oracle Cloud.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle databases in Oracle cloud, ensuring their performance, availability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Oracle databases on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
Implement and maintain database security (user roles, privileges, etc.).
Perform database backup and recovery operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of databases.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
OCI certification is mandatory.
7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS).
Experience with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).
