We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to patients/clients with physical, cognitive, or mental disabilities, helping them to achieve their maximum level of independence and participation in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patients'/clients' strengths, limitations, and goals.
2. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient/client-centered approaches.
3. Therapy Interventions: Provide occupational therapy interventions, including activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and other therapeutic activities to promote independence, mobility, and participation.
4. Patient/Client Education: Educate patients/clients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques, strategies, and adaptive equipment to promote carryover and generalization of skills.
5. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
6. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient/client progress, treatment plans, and discharge plans.
7. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices, research, and technology in occupational therapy.
1. Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Licensure: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in [State/Province].
