Your Role and Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco SD-WAN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, deployment, and troubleshooting with a focus on Cisco SD-WAN solutions. This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach to ensure robust network connectivity and seamless integration across our enterprise network. Key Responsibilities:
Cisco SD-WAN Implementation: Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco SD-WAN solutions across multiple sites, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
Network Design & Architecture: Develop scalable network architectures to support enterprise needs, including routing, switching, and security protocols.
Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to SD-WAN performance, connectivity, and security.
Network Security: Implement security best practices in SD-WAN environments, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and encryption.
Optimization & Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance and apply necessary adjustments to optimize SD-WAN and overall network efficiency.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network engineering with hands-on experience in Cisco SD-WAN.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in Cisco SD-WAN, including design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
Proficiency in security concepts and firewall configurations (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SNMP-based solutions.
Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, or Cisco SD-WAN certifications are highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Ansible).
