ROLE IN BRIEF : 


We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Head to join our team and lead sales initiatives targeting food factories.


The ideal candidate will have a robust hunting profile with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing deals in the food industry.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : 


  • Experience selling Food Testing Services to food industry.
  • Strong Existing network of contacts within the food industry.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU HAVE : 


  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Science or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 18 years of sales experience in ISO 17025 accredited Lab/s (for Pharma position change this to CDSCO/GLP approved, USFDA inspected Labs/s) with a strong focus on hunting and business development for Food Testing Services in the food industry.
  3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Hands-on experience
  8. Proficient in Computer Skills, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :


  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target food f industries and drive revenue growth.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing Clientele, cold calling, networking, and market research.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food industry.
  4. Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  5. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and operations to ensure client satisfaction.
  7. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to senior management.
  8. Manage a group of sales reps
