Job Summary:The Murex Front Office Consultant will be responsible for providing expert-level support and consultancy services for the Murex trading platform. The role involves working closely with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of the Murex system in the front office environment.

  • Proficiency with the Murex trading platform, particularly the front office module.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Unix shell scripting).
  • Familiarity with system integration and customization processes.

Overall Responsibilities:


  • Provide expert-level support for the Murex front office module.
  • Configure and customize the Murex platform to meet the specific needs of the front office users.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of Murex with other systems and applications.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 6-14 years of experience working with the Murex trading platform, specifically in the front office module.
  • Proven track record in providing support and customization for Murex systems.
  • Experience in project management and leading Murex-related projects is a plus.

Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Support front office users in their daily operations on the Murex platform.
  • Customize and configure the Murex system to meet specific user needs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve any system issues.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for system improvements.
  • Lead and participate in Murex-related projects.
  • Conduct training sessions and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Unix shell scripting).

Soft Skills:


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Project management skills are an added advantage.
