About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic team player who is driven by results and passionate about industrial electronic products and respective test deliveries. He/She will be working on a range of electricity Power Metering offers with communications, Input/Output capabilities, and more. Direct experience in Embedded Communication Products & System Testing is very Key, direct working on Metering/Smart Metering is going to be direct match. Exposure & experience in the Agile process is desirable.

The position is called Multi Technologies, V&V Technical Product Owner (V&V Technical Expert) and will be working in Digital Power - Basic Metering League business unit, based at Bangalore – Avinya Campus - Bagmane Solarium Campus, Whitefield. and reporting to the R&D Engineering Technical Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Guide the V&V Squad as Technical Product Owner (or Test Expert)
• Review the Product & System Requirements, shared feedback to Design & marketing
• Lead the Test Management Planning & Execution
  • Creating Global Product & System Test strategy & Plan, required test benches & infra
  • Planning & Execution of Product & System Testing
  • Defect Logging & Defect Management
  • Test Automaton Planning, Development & Execution using Python, Robot framework
  • Update the planning & status as part of Agile scrum rituals.
  • Update the Test Dashboard for the good predictability,

Requirements

• Should understand product development life cycle and processes, design/test specification, root cause analysis, good electronics debugging/troubleshooting skills, and board bring-up processes, traceability management and Defect management
• Should gained adequate experience in Product Integration (Hardware, Firmware) testing, should be well versed with energy management domain.
• Exposure & be able to understand, plan and execute the firmware/functional tests aspects from Manufacturability
• Experience on Wired & wireless Communication Protocols i.e. Modbus Serial, TCP/IP, BACnet, Zigbee & Bluetooth. Exclusively IP features like SNMP, SNTP & DHCP etc
• Got some hands-on using test automation tools and technologies using Python
• Should be interested to work with Power system domain and technologies
• Should be a team player and able to actively contribute or participate in daily meetings or discussions
• Challenging by nature, should be able to handle work with minimal support

·Be curious, like to experiment, and be self-driven

·Recommended Agile execution and scrum experience

Qualification and Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics streams
• 10 to 12 Years of work experience
