About this Team :
This is a global team with resources in both us and India, this team is responsible for new customer migration and support for existing customer on MS SQL, Oracle and Exadata preferred.
What he will be doing :
He will be responsible on understanding the new customer environment, design and architect the solution resolving the customer existing problems and migrate the database to our Data center.
He will also be responsible for supporting our existing customers with their databases.
Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
What he needs to have :
Experience on MS SQL & Oracle. Knowledge on Exadata is preferred.
Good understanding on Oracle Database Appliance architecture
Knowledge on Oracle Exadata architecture
Good understanding of database administration on distributed platforms.
Setup/configuration/support of SQL server 2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019
Experience to support large size, high volume, and critical SQL server environments.
