About Mortgage Solutions


The Global Private Bank Mortgage Solutions team delivers customized, complex mortgage lending solutions to clients. Mortgage Specialists work with Bankers, Lending Specialists, Financial Advisors, and additional members of the integrated team to deliver sophisticated lending solutions and excellent service to clients. 


Role Overview


Job Responsibilities:


  • Support Mortgage Specialists located in the United States (US) in managing the mortgage pipeline, including but not limited to: submitting applications, amendments, collecting material information for processing and underwriting and providing post funding support.  
  • Partner with clients, banking teams, third party vendors, and Operations to ensure all client’s requirements to originate a mortgage are collected promptly and processed accurately (e.g., home owner’s insurance, title contacts, ownership structure, power of attorney and legal entity documents).
  • Ability to own and manage end-to-end mortgage pipeline; respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency and ensure deadlines are met and within the code of conduct
  • Assist with the underwriting development process by answering underwriting inquiries.
  • Assist in maintenance of the portfolio and identify mortgage opportunities (Covenants, insurance, maturing loans, excess equity, general client enquiries) 
  • Play support role in driving business initiatives and collaborate across functions effectively (Operations, Treasury, Marketing, Compliance, Banking teams, etc) 
  • Identify and execute on process improvement opportunities; present fact-based findings to identify issues, explain root-cause and propose compelling solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Highly self-motivated individual with a strong solutions orientation: able to concisely articulate and explain needs and recommend solutions
  • Bachelor's degree required with minimum of 1 year work experience in the financial services industry and US mortgage experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with attention to detail
  • Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills, including end-to-end task ownership
  • Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, stakeholders and clients
  • Flexible to work any shifts including night shift (US Hour)
