Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in managing data engineering projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in data engineering
• Proficiencies in data engineering tools and technologies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform or IBM Certified Data Engineer a plus

Key responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain the Moogsoft AIOps platform to meet business requirements.
• Develop and implement event management and correlation rules to identify and respond to incidents proactively.
• Integrate Moogsoft with various monitoring tools and systems to consolidate alerts and events.
• Monitor the performance and health of the Moogsoft platform, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to design and implement automated workflows and remediation actions.
• Analyze incident data and provide insights to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on using the Moogsoft platform.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Moogsoft and AIOps technologies and recommend improvements.

Must:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in AWS, specifically with Moogsoft or any Event management tool. Experience with other AIOps or ITSM platforms.
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Strong experience in ServiceNow and integration across various platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS services, Data ingestions pipelines and other services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• AWS Cloud formation knowledge (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing)
• Perform processing on unstructured data and do text analytics.
• Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables.
• Ability to analyze, design, and implement components by applying best practices and coding standards.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to details.

Good:

• Knowledge of analytics and machine learning lifecycles is beneficial. Python Java knowledge is preferred.
• Comfortable using GitHub and Python programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Application/Engineering preferred.

15+ years’ experience:  

• in the information technology field. 

• software development in the following:  

• NET, C#, Java / JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Windows services, MVC HTML5, RAZOR, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, RESTAPI, Application Services, Web Services, Visual Studio. 

• consulting with landscape support teams to define monitoring solutions for their requirements. 

• performing data integration. 

• with Windows Server & Linux 

10+ years’ experience  

• with monitoring technology. 

• event management / AI Operations experience. 

• performing technical design with stakeholders. 

• GIT repository.  

• managing a backlog using agile iterative delivery techniques. 

• using APM, EUM, STM, Event Management / AI   Operations, and Network monitoring techniques. 

• developing VuGen scripts (mandatory protocols include Citrix ICA, CVuser, Web HTTP/HTML, Oracle NCA, SAP GUI, SAP – Web, TruClient – Web). 

7+ years’ experience  

• with ThousandEyes (prefer Selenium transaction scripting). 

• with VuGen. 

• User Access Management administration. 

• using Azure DevOps for work management and automation. 

• Apache Kafka. 

5+ Years experience  

• ServiceNow ITSM with emphasis on Incident, Change, Planned Outage, and CMDB. 

• configuring and administering Moogsoft AIOps Enterprise and Dynatrace Observability Platform. 

3+ years’ experience 

• Azure Cloud experience configuring and supporting infrastructure 

2+ years’ experience 

• with Moogsoft AIOps Enterprise. 

• configuring and administering Link Access Modules (REST, SNMP, Email). 

• configuring and administering Moogsoft SaaS integrations. 

• developing and maintaining workflows using:  

• Workflow Engine (Alert Actions, Alert Inform Engine, Alert Integration, Alert Workflows, Enrichment Workflows, Event Workflows, ServiceNow, Enrichment Workflow, Situation Delta Workflow, Situation Inform Engine Workflow, Situation 

• Custom Moobot for integration with ServiceNow. 

• with ServiceNow Planned Outage integration with Moogsoft AIOps Enterprise.
