We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing MongoDB databases to support our applications and data needs. You will work closely with developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our database architecture is efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:• Design and implement MongoDB database schemas that meet application requirements.• Develop and execute data migration strategies for transitioning from relational databases to MongoDB, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.• Implement automation for routine database maintenance tasks, such as backups and monitoring, to improve efficiency.• Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of MongoDB within CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and data modeling.• Collaborate with development teams to integrate MongoDB with applications and services.• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.• Develop and maintain documentation for database designs, processes, and best practices.• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls and backup strategies.• Stay updated with the latest MongoDB features and best practices and recommend improvements to the existing database architecture.• Participate in code reviews and provide guidance on database-related best practices.• Assist in the migration of existing databases to MongoDB as needed.• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on MongoDB best practices and database management.
