Basic Purpose of Job:Portfolio Administrators are responsible for all operational duties for a set of portfolios within an investment strategy. Portfolio Administrators work with internal and external groups to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data on each portfolio.Responsibilities & Tasks Include:Act as primary point of contact to Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, PerformanceMeasurement Group, Compliance and Custodian inquiries for assigned portfoliosPerform daily cash, position and price reconciliations between our internal accounting system and Barclays POINT and correct/escalate outstanding exceptions to Portfolio Management and Operations Manager appropriatelyAssist internal reconciliation teams with researching and resolution of reconciliation exceptions between SSGA and the external record keepersProvide daily cash availability and forecasted balances to Portfolio ManagementPrepare monthly portfolio data and reports for performance analysis and evaluationCreate and check Client reports for investment advisor clients and investment trust funds. (Covers Retail, Financial Institute Group and Pension)Create and check the statutory reportsJob Requirements:Education and ExperienceMBA finance / B.com as an educational qualification.Knowledge of investment accounting.Pursuing any certification like CFA, FRM etc is an added advantageOne plus years’ Custody & Accounting experience on related investments is an added advantage.Flexible to all the shift timingsSkills/ KnowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and accounting platforms; Smart stream and Bloomberg experience preferred but not requiredStrong analysis and problem resolution skillsMotivated individual who possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentThe above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job.
