The Metrics Senior Analyst will be responsible for creating and delivering reporting and analytics for the enterprise.  Additionally, this individual will be responsible for leading complex value-added financial analysis projects, building key risk indicators, key performance indicators, key control indicators, and producing visual data metrics.


Responsibilities


  • Point of contact and subject matter expert for metrics and analytics. Individual will work very closely with business units and partners in locations across the globe to ensure key metrics are clearly communicated and properly attributed with drivers of change.
  • Produce metrics and data visualization deliverables.
  • Support metric strategy for business unit practice
  • Establish and provide metrics to business units and regional partners routinely, as well as support ad-hoc requests.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to provide metric insights in an effort to educate partners about trends and emerging risks.
  • Develop strong relationships and closely coordinate with business units and other partners.
  • Manages projects, including planning, organizing, and directing activities towards project goal completion, including ongoing enhancements to management reporting in order to provide key insights to the enterprise and individual business units.

Knowledge/Skills


  • Financial and accounting knowledge with business acumen. Industry knowledge is beneficial.
  • Comfortable with business intelligence systems and analytical tools such as link analysis and expertise in using Excel or similar tools to analyze and forecast financial line items.
  • Strong experience with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Competency in interpreting data and deriving meaningful insights & trends.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Results and detail oriented with ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.  Experience developing management/board presentations is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, integrity and confidentiality.

Experience


  • Relevant work experience in corporate finance, business intelligence, consulting, or accounting.
  • Previous experience in financial planning and forecasting is a plus.
  • Previous experience building dashboards and metrics suites with industry tools like Tableau, Domo, or Power BI/Colibra
