Understand the customer's logistics requirements and work directly with suppliers to prioritize and plan shipments accordingly to meet customers' expectations and on-time delivery requirements
Ensure the Merchandising Team's timely execution of order updates and shipping coordination to meet the customer's delivery requirement
Monitor and compile logistics-related data for the purpose of supporting the process of exception handling, such as impacts of COVID, container shortage, change of shipment mode, etc.
Verify internal and external data and ensure effective logistics planning, including coordinating and verifying shipment timelines. This includes collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and minimize minutes revision & delay
Analyze and digest logistics data with suppliers and forwarders to deliver insights and streamline logistics processes
Develop and monitor logistics performance metrics/data for stakeholders' reports and improvement purpose
Desired Candidate Profile
Hands-on experience in shipping and logistics Management
Gained experience in managing shipment & logistics planning is a must
Ability to plan and prioritize work and work well under pressure
Customer-oriented and result focus
Hands-on experience in shipping and logistics Management
Works comfortably under pressure or dealing with ambiguity.
Experience/ exposure in complex work environments.
Attention to detail and a sharp bend of mind.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Early joining preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree holder, Major in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline
At least 3 years of work experience in shipping & logistics management, experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry is an advantage
Candidates from Delhi-NCR will be preferred.
