Merchandising Manager-Knit/Jersey

WHAT YOU’LL DO​

As the Merchandising Manager, you have ownership over the execution and optimization of the set global purchasing strategy and routines to secure the global best buy, global best in-price and global on-time delivery in your assigned markets.

What is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.  

WHO YOU ARE​

We are looking for people with…​

• You have ownership over the execution and optimization of the set global purchasing strategy and routines to secure the global best buy, global best in-price and global on-time delivery in your assigned markets.
• Take ownership over executing and securing merchandising workflow for your specific product group, ensuring delivery of the best customer offer directly and through your team.
• You work closely with your leadership team to work towards achieving team goals, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and team’s goals are aligned with the assortment goals.
• Lead by being a role model of H&M’s leadership principles and by focusing on developing your business and people.
• Responsible for evaluating suppliers’ performance, ensuring that seasonal capacity planning and capacity development is aligned with long term strategic plan.
• Collaborate with the Buying Office and offices other markets, to understand and balance the needs of all stakeholders through efficient and clear communication.

• Strive to develop the market base for Jersey/Knit
• Local profile with 12 years plus experience
• Leadership and team handling experience with extended remote teams
• Ability of Strategic partnership with Suppliers
